this little girl was wonderful...my photo world is slowly leveling off with the wedding and moving quickly into the high school senior...I must admit I tend to only photograph seniors that want a real natural look, full of life. Hope all a great weekend...xo

treats from my mini veggie garden...

~I am so excited about my veggie garden...i have always had tomatoes, but this year PEPPERS, four varieties, mostly for this amazing pepper soup I make, fresh chives!!! ginger root...will not harvest till later...cabbage, I planted them to close together, we'll see or not and of course all the herbs...the lemon basil is out of control.... oh, the carrots, I eat those right out of the garden...so sweet...xo

how about some cake & cookies....stired up with silliness...

~it's the last day of the summer , i will have my nieces and we have been having fun....

• walk the dogs...all three
• Alli made a MUD cake with fresh flowers
• Haddy & Alli made short bread cookies...yum
• they finished painting the bench..for my photo shoots...
• Alli and i picked a bunch of veggies from the garden...and dried them for soup
• we all had an hour of quiet time of reading...the pups took a nap...

it's not what you do...but how you do it...a heart full of love...xo

a little harmony in the garden...

~walking the garden this morning...just to see how everyone is doing ..with this hot weather, my shade plants have had some trouble...plus the fish like it when I give them some cold fresh water to play in...well Lacy(my pup) likes to watch the fish do their thing...she watched them for about 45 min. today...I just love the harmony...the simple things...I feel I live in paradise, I guess my own little paradise....xo

~the quietness of Sunday..it's like a glass of water that sits on my desk...waiting to be sipped from...like the tiny breeze, i feel on my arm...siting here typing..its like the jazz being played in the studio...with the volume barely there ...more like a whisper and so like freshly baked scones that when you take a bite ...gives you this pure contentment, that will never leave you....

art walk....events

the opening started out with a splash at the Apple Gallery,...located in the Good Earth Market...it was raining pretty hard, but that didn't keep the people away, Sydney (my daughter) and I played cards to pass some of the time and yes...I taught her how to play Gin Rummy, and she seems to always win...

and than it rained...and rained..

than we had some homemade oatmeal cookies made by Good Earth Market deli...yumm

than the SUN came out!!!...Sydney did a good job shooting her mother...don't you think...

this awesome couple(Cheri and Thom Smithlin) volunteered as curators for the Apple Gallery last night...great job selling my art....

the second opening was at the cafe called.....it's inside the Yellowstone Art Museum...

a must have lunch place to go...yummy

~last night I got to shoot some new work for Joni Rains, of Dayrainsdesigns...I really like the change of pace .... my pup likes it when I am in the studio too so she can help me...have a great day!!
